Description

For my Design Fundamentals class, we had to design a recreational board. I chose to design graphics for surfboards. The designs are inspired by Maori art, Australian Aboriginal art, and other Native Cultures from the South Pacific.

All the art in the board design is original except the triangular pattern inside the "zig-zag" and created in Adobe Illustrator. I imported the design images and masked them on to stock images of a blank surfboard.

The artwork is amazing and is very similar to the Australian aboriginal artwork, and I see that that is where some of your inspiration was drawn from.. Each piece tells a story.
